Terms of Service
Last updated 14 June 2026
The Pain Forecast issues rough mathematical estimates for entertainment and general information. By using it, you agree to the terms below.
The forecast is an estimate, not a guarantee
- Every figure — watts, grades, verdicts, climb times — is a rough mathematical estimate derived from the inputs you provide. Real-world power varies with wind, drafting, fatigue, road surface, temperature, riding position, and more.
- Do not rely on the tool for safety-critical decisions. Ride within your limits, obey the rules of the road, and use your own judgement.
- It is not professional, medical, or coaching advice. Consult a qualified professional for training or health decisions.
Provided “as is”
- The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind — including accuracy, reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose — to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the tool.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the values you enter and the links you choose to share.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, abuse, or misuse the service.
Privacy
We do not collect or store your data. Your settings live only in your browser, and route files are processed locally. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Intellectual property
The Pain Forecast name, design, copy, and code belong to their owner. The brand was created for this project.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
